I have completed six charts and I just started knitting chart seven yesterday. So far I am liking this pattern, but I enjoy all of Miriam's patterns. The yarn is Zephyr in Blueberry and I am knitting the shawl on size US3 needles.

Here is Clue one of the Mystery Stole 3. I am now on Clue four, row 333, but now that the theme has been revealed and Clue five shows a wing....hmmmm, I am not sure what to do. With all due respect to Melanie, I liked her previous designs, I am just not digging this wing thing.

I think I will put this aside and see how the stole looks completed. The way I feel now, I may just frog the whole thing.

This is the Seraphim Shawl I made this for my Mom for Christmas. I used JaggerSpun Zephyr DK and I believe the color is plum. I don't remember which needles I used, It might be the recommended needles the pattern called for.

I would do this shawl again, but next time in laceweight.

I have seven rows left of the Mystery Stole 3 - I hope to have this finished today so that I am ready for clue 2 when released tomorrow.

Welcome! This is my first Blog - Yeah! I guess I should introduce myself first.

My name is Carol, I'm 45 and I've been married for three years. Hubby and I have two cats - Mr. Stinky and Patches. I've been knitting on and off for about 20 years.

For the past two years, I have knitted lace shawls/stoles exculsively. I've knitted the following stoles/shawls:

Triangles Within Triangles Shawl - My first shawl. I "attended" Needlecraft University to learn how to do lace knitting. Jackie Erickson-Schweitzer is the Designer of the shawl and also teaches the course. If you want to learn how to knit lace, this is a good place to learn.

Icarus Shawl - I have to take a picture of this shawl.

Seraphim Shawl - I have a picture of the Seraphim will upload it later.

Hanami Stole - is waiting to be blocked.
